MALE organisation and local bikers partner with CCT to promote bike safety
CCT BVI joins Mentoring Anointed Leaders Everywhere (MALE) and local bikers in promoting bike safety under the event, ‘A Ride for Life’ on Saturday, March 24.
Event organiser and MALE President Mr. Henderson Tittle expressed the importance to always wear a helmet while biking, “The life you save today may be your own as the journey of life continues.’
Mr. Tittle added that, “Dozens of riders, males and females are expected to participate and it is our intension to make this event annual as we encourage all bikers to join us this Saturday for the event.”
CCT's Marketing Manager Mr. Recaldo Richardson, expressed the importance of ensuring that bikers are aware of the dangers and urged all to be safe while riding.
Mr. Richardson mentioned a few important safety tips such as encouraging riders to be well equipped with their helmet; always remain visible to drivers and use lights; practice riding in the direction of traffic; avoid swerving in and out of traffic; obey all traffic laws and traffic lights; and avoid using your mobile devices while riding.
‘A Ride for Life’ is slated for Saturday, March 24, beginning at 3pm from Port Purcell’s roundabout to Prospect Reef and end at Sunny Caribe parking lot in Road Town where a presentation will take place.
