CCT Territory Wide Back To School Campaign Distributes School Supplies To Hundreds
CCT’s Back to School campaign, held territory wide, wrapped up on Friday, August 31 on Jost Van Dyke.
The two-week long Back to School campaign hosted a distribution drive on Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, and Jost Van Dyke along with presentations to the Rainbow Children’s Home and the Youth Empowerment Programme, successfully distributing over 1,000 backpacks and school supplies to the children in the BVI.
CCT’s Marketing Manager Mr. Recaldo Richardson stated, “We did the Back to School Drive and presentations as part of our CCT Cares initiative with the intention to play our part in giving back to the community. We have never done a territory wide back to school drive, and this year we hosted it on the four main islands attracting an overwhelming turnout.”
“We intend to make this an annual campaign to assist in ensuring that students are one step closer to being equipped for the start of the school year, while continuing to make a positive impact in the community,” Mr. Richardson expressed.
CCT will remain active and involved in the community supporting the BVI in the rebuilding process along with tackling issues that affect the territory. To view highlights from CCT’s Back to School Drive visit CCT BVI Facebook page.
