CCT sponsors opening ceremony for M&M Soccer Academy

M&M Soccer Academy held its opening ceremony on Saturday, April 7, through the sponsorship of CCT BVI with 45 students ranging from 5 years and up registered.

Founder and Coaching Director Mr. Morris Mark Jr. said that the mission of the soccer academy is to create ambassadors in our youths by developing physical, technical, and psychological disciplines at the highest international standards through soccer.

“M&M Soccer Academy aims to create a haven where students feel safe to tackle their fears and accomplish their goals as we offer a variety of services designed to help students be the best version of themselves, while having fun in the process,” Mr. Morris outlined.

“With our unique approachand support system, students will be led down the path of success as learning can be fostered from a feeling of mutual respect, guidance, and direction, while we do our best to maintain those values shapingthe future of soccer at all levels in the BVI,” the coaching director explained.

In addition, Mr. Morris stated that one his motivations to continue his pursuit to help the youths came from his late father Mr. Morris Mark Sr., who said, “Your passion is where your heart is and where your heart is you would find your passion.”

Commenting on the gesture to sponsor the opening ceremony, CCT's Marketing Manager Mr. Recaldo Richardson said, “Investing in the future of the youths is the right path as one of the greatest benefits of this academy is that it will help our youths discover what really ignites their passion while building teamwork and discipline.”

Mr. Morris Mark Jr. is a specialized goalkeeping instructor, international coach and has standard training with over 30 years of experience in soccer, as he vows to create the development of youth soccer from the grassroots to senior levels while creating an awareness locally, regionally and internationally.
