CCT CARES INITIATIVE TO STAND AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN FEBRUARY

CCT BVI’s community initiative ‘CCT Cares’ has committed to join the community this month to take a stand against Domestic Violence.

According to Marketing Manager Recaldo Richardson, CCT Cares intends to reach out to the community and give back during the rebuilding journey and focus on issues that affect the British Virgin Islands. “CCT is a company that cares and the issue of Domestic Violence is usually highlighted in October but research has shown that it occurs every single day.”

Mr. Richardson encourages persons to visit the CCT BVI Facebook page to view posts in support of the fight to eradicate domestic violence. “As we join the stand to cease domestic violence in the Virgin Islands we continue to remind persons that there are laws and organisations put in place to help victims and give them that boost to leave abusive relationships,” he expressed.

The anti-Domestic Violence campaign will conclude on Saturday, February 24 at the Tortola Pier Park lawn at 3 p.m. where persons are invited to join CCT, Miss BVI, Family Support Network, victims and persons against Domestic Violence in holding hands to form a human heart chain, symbolizing the love and care one should demonstrate as a community.

The CCT Cares Initiative was officially launched in January 2018 where CCT donated a GOFASTLTE Modem with complementary internet service to the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School in Sea Cow’s Bay following the passage of hurricane Irma.

CCT BVI, voted Best Cellular Service Provider in the BVI, is the BVI’s Premier 4G LTE Network. To learn more about CCT BVI, visit www.cctbvi.com.
