CCT announces Dear Mama promo winners at Mother’s Day breakfast
CCT BVI announced their ‘Dear Mama’ Mother’s Day Giveaway promotion winners on Friday, May 11, during a special Mother’s Day Breakfast hosted at the Flagship Store.
CCT’s Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Jerilee T. Hopkins expressed, “Mother’s Day promotions are very important and dear to us as the unconditional love of a mother is worth celebrating and cherishing and we are delighted to assist in rewarding mothers and mother figures.”
CCT and ‘De Crew’ donate to FSN
As telecommunication provider, CCT continues their ongoing campaign initiative CCT Cares that is aimed to give back to the community, they partnered with Sherwin A. Peters, member of the promotion team ‘De Crew’ to make a donation to the Family Support Network (FSN).
The donation was made on Friday, April 20, 2018, to the President of Family Support Network (FSN), Mrs Judith M. Charles.
CCT sponsors opening ceremony for M&M Soccer Academy
M&M Soccer Academy held its opening ceremony on Saturday, April 7, through the sponsorship of CCT BVI with 45 students ranging from 5 years and up registered.
Founder and Coaching Director Mr. Morris Mark Jr. said that the mission of the soccer academy is to create ambassadors in our youths by developing physical, technical, and psychological disciplines at the highest international standards through soccer.
CCT signs on as exclusive telecom sponsor for Virgin Gorda’s Easter festivities
CCT BVI has signed on to be the exclusive telecommunications sponsor for the upcoming Virgin Gorda Easter Explosion scheduled from March 31 – April 2.
CCT’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Averad Penn commenting on the signing stated that, “CCT stands with the community in preserving and keeping culture alive on Virgin Gorda especially that it is the longest existing event to be held annually on the island.”
MALE organisation and local bikers partner with CCT to promote bike safety
CCT BVI joins Mentoring Anointed Leaders Everywhere (MALE) and local bikers in promoting bike safety under the event, ‘A Ride for Life’ on Saturday, March 24.
Event organiser and MALE President Mr. Henderson Tittle expressed the importance to always wear a helmet while biking, “The life you save today may be your own as the journey of life continues.’
Mr. Tittle added that, “Dozens of riders, males and females are expected to participate and it is our intension to make this event annual as we encourage all bikers to join us this Saturday for the event.”
Children from rainbow children’s home joins CCT at cinema for Black Panther premiere
The children and staff from the Rainbow Children’s Home joined CCT BVI in the viewing of the action-packed African cultured marvel movie Black Panther during the Sunday matinée at UP’s Cineplex.
Commenting on the gesture to present movie tickets to the children and staff of the Rainbow Children’s Home, CCT's Marketing Manager Mr. Recaldo Richardson said, “This movie not only uplifts young boys, but it is very motivating for women and young girls affirming the strength and intelligence that they possess.”
CCT cares donates to volunteer recovery response organisation
CCT BVI'scommunity initiative presented gift bags and a LTE Modem with complimentary internet service to "All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response" organization on Tuesday, February 27 at the Ivan Dawson Primary School in Cane Garden Bay that is currently under repairs.
All Hands and Hearts – Smart Response's mission is to efficiently and effectively address the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters and rebuild safe, resilient schools, homes and other community infrastructure.
CCT rallying the public against Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence Awareness Month may be till October but CCT BVI is not waiting until then to get in the ring to fight Domestic Violence and neither does it intend to go up against the monster alone.
The local telecommunications provider will be rallying residents of the Virgin Islands on Saturday February 24, 2018 to take a stand against the issue that has plagued countries worldwide, including the Virgin Islands.
